Her Secret Suspenders are:
- Adjustable. They should not be so tight that they pull or so slack that they gap.
- Designed to hold the garment at the waistline—not to pull them up.
- Designed with ribbons in the front to cover/hide the clips and ribbons in the back to hold the clip away from your body thereby preventing the oils in your skin from tarnishing the clip. Always make sure that the ribbons are in place. (The ribbon for the back loops through the top clip opening.)
- Designed to be placed on the garment itself and not on a belt or belt loop. Her Secret Suspenders will adjust to the thickness of the garment. Once adjusted, it will not securely hold in place a thinner garment or material. So, if you normally wear tights during the week and jeans on weekends, we recommend purchasing one pair of Her Secret Suspenders to be worn exclusively with your tights and a second pair to be worn exclusively with your jeans.
